Our handcrafted pottery is made from durable Stoneware clay and kiln fired to over 2200°F. The firing makes it impenetrable to liquids, creating a functional product...but we take that further by dipping or hand painting a lead-free, microwave safe, dishwasher safe and oven-proof glaze onto the surface to make a handcrafted, functional piece of art.
